The houseboat serves multi-cuisine dishes, specializing in continental and Kashmiri delicacies. A must try dish is the Wazwan a multi-course Kashmiri meal, served on a Taraem dish during celebrations like a wedding or a festival. At WelcomHeritage Gurkha Houseboat you can pre-order this heritage dish and savour the aromaric delicacy at its best. A taraem basically comprises of 36 dishes - from rista, rogan josh to kababs, primarily made of lamb. The main course ends with what is known as ‘Gushtaba’, a meatball dish.

Dal Lake
A Shikara ride at Dal Lake is amongst the top favourite things to do in Kashmir. Tulip Garden
