Abinash Manghani is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of WelcomHeritage since June 2020. In a career spanning three decades, Abinash has traversed his professional journey wearing several hats primarily in Tourism, Hospitality & Real Estate advisory Services. His last position was Area Manager & Head Travel Industry Sales for ITC Hotels where he was responsible for the leisure & luxury verticals for ITC Hotels on a national basis and Area Manager for Hotels in North India. Abinash began his career with ITC after joining the Welcomgroup Maurya Sheraton, New Delhi when he was selected for the Group's Management Trainee Program in 1990. He was appointed as Sales and Marketing Manager for ITC Hotels in Chennai in 1996 before being posted as Marketing Manager for the Group's flagship property, the ITC Maurya in 1999. He joined Colliers Jardine, a real estate MNC Consultancy as General Manager in 2000 and was involved in several landmark transactions and advisory including valuation & divestment of Hotels along with Jardine Fleming and landmark telecom venture / IT, retail and commercial projects. In 2005, he re-joined ITC Hotels as Head - Sales & Marketing and was deputed to Fortune Hotels overseeing the Mid-market to Upscale Brand, setting up of the national sales and distribution system and was involved with development wherein the brand grew from 13 Hotels to 40 from 2005 to 2010. Abinash holds an MBA from the Asian Institute of Management, Manila and has received his Diploma in Hotel Management from IHMCTAN, Dadar, Mumbai. He has also successfully completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP) from the Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth College, Vermont USA.
Mr. Gaurav Gupta, Head Sales & CRS Operations: is the latest addition to our Team. He holds an experience of 23 years in hospitality in Front Office Operations, Revenue and General Management, he has worked with known brands like – ITC Hotels, Radisson, Accor, Autograph, and Marriot in India and abroad. Gaurav will assist the organisation to energise the Sales Department and streamline CRS Operations with our Hotels.
Heads Revenue & Distribution and will spearhead the Growth of Electronic Distribution for WH Hotels including www.welcomheritagehotels.in, OTAs, Rate Integrity and Discipline across channels and integration with the ITC Hotels Group. She brings a total of over 12 years of experience in Reservations and Revenue & Distribution. She also holds expertise in managing multi properties at the cluster level with Accor Hotel & Ambuja Neotia Hospitality in the East and The Suryaa, New Delhi.
Ms. Akansha Vij, Manager Marketing has done tremendous work in developing the WelcomHeritage Brand Guidelines and developing Brand Standards in order to present a unified Front to the market and our cus-tomers. She is also working on Brand Alliances in the Travel space to enhance our reach through Digitisation.
Mr. Neeraj Balani: has joined us as Head of the Operations, Quality, L&D. He has experience of over 20 years in the industry with The Oberois, Radisson and Sterling Resorts specializing in Hospitality Services. He will assist our hotels and General Managers to install Quality processes and introduce Concepts in Safety, Accommodation, Food & Beverage across the chain.
Mrs. Kalpna Chandra, Manager – GXC* and CRS has stabilised our Contact centre (080-45771900) and adopted several technologies to be available to Customers. Currently we operate on a national basis from 8am-8pm and during Covid her Team has proved invaluable with Direct “Voice” calls have been on the increase.
